SickKids VS

SickKids Hospital, located in Toronto, is an amazing hospital for children. Children from across the world are brought there to receive quality healthcare and it is known to many as a lifechanging place. Being such an important hospital, they need to stay up to date with new technologies and medical treatment. They need to evolve to become an even better place which is why they began raising funds for a new building to be built. It is a huge project with a goal of $1.3 billion, which is why they need our help.

Lauren and Elise saw the need and the value in this campaign. So many lives are effected by SickKids hospital and these grade twelve students wanted to raise awareness and fundraise for the campaign.

They baked cookies to give one to anyone who was willing to donate to the cause. Their plan was to use the school as well as local grocery stores to raise money. During lunches at Nantyr, they collected great amounts of money by offering a simple cookie in return and explaining the campaign throughout the school. Many students have gained knowledge and awareness about this fundraiser thanks to them, and have been able to help support by giving what they can.

Lauren and Elise did not want it to be a pressuring experience, so their point is to give any amount, no matter the size. They have received small and large donations through this system, and every bit counts.

How can you help?

This campaign is a great opportunity to help an important cause and involve yourself in positive change. Lauren and Elise are sending all of their proceeds to the campaign and encourage others to donate online as well, where still, any amount counts.

SickKids VS is on a steady path towards their goal, and all help is appreciated.
