Winter Boots Drive

About their Project

Brelyn and Maddie wanted to collect winter boots to give to those in need. They collected boots at a few elementary schools in our community, as well as ours school, and donated them to a shelter in Barrie.

Goals

• To have bins in each school filled with boots by the end of the semester

• Bring the boots to a homeless shelter in Barrie

• Bring a smile to those in need, doing something good for the community

They chose this for their project so that they could help homeless people stay warm in the winter months, and give back to our community.

We all take a lot for granted, and Brelyn and Maddie realized this, so they wanted to help others and be grateful for all that we have.
